Abstract
⺠(Pb1âxLax)TiO3 ceramic with 0.18 ⩽ x ⩽ 0.23, were prepared by the solid-state reaction. ⺠Transparent ferroelectric ceramics of (Pb1âxLax)TiO3, x = 0.21, were obtained. ⺠Several thermal annealing steps are necessary to reach high optical transmittance. ⺠The optical quality attained allowed determined the electrooptical coefficient. ⺠The electrooptical characterized were for the first time for this system.
