Abstract
⺠A diode-pumped doubly QML YVO4/NdYVO4 laser is realized. ⺠More stable and shorter pulses with higher peak power are generated. ⺠The pulse width of the Q-envelope is evidently compressed. ⺠The mode-locked pulsed peak power is greatly improved. ⺠The numerical solutions of the coupled equations agree with the experimental results.
