Abstract
⺠We determined the photoinduced birefringence in epoxy resin doped with CdS. ⺠Increasing the doping the birefringence of the epoxy resin also increases. ⺠The writing laser power increases the birefringence and its formation time. ⺠The refractive index of the resin epoxy increases with the addition of the CdS.
