Abstract
⺠We applied zone casting for directional crystallization of inclusion compound. ⺠Layers of PHTP/DNAA showing second harmonic generation were obtained. ⺠The zone casting technique bear a great potential to produce monopolar thin layers. ⺠Producing monopolar PHTP/guest layers featuring a pyroelectric effect is anticipated. ⺠Deposition onto interdigitated electrodes may lead to heat sensing device.
