Abstract
⺠Different Nd3+ centers in SrF2 crystal were determined and their lifetimes were measured. ⺠Oscillation spectrum of Nd3+ ions in SrF2 crystal was found to change with laser diode pumping wavelength. ⺠Observed depending oscillation spectrum of Nd3+ ions from excitation of different Nd3+ optical centers. ⺠Laser oscillations in SrF2:Nd3+ crystals were obtained with slope efficiency up to 37%.
