Abstract
⺠The passive loss of the mixed Nd:GdLuYVO4 crystal is experimentally measured. ⺠The stimulated emission cross-section of the Nd:GdLuYVO4 crystal is obtained. ⺠The Nd:GdLuYVO4 crystal induces the relatively serious thermal lens effect. ⺠Nd:GdLuYVO4 is more suitable for passively Q-switched laser radiation than Nd:GdYVO4.
