Abstract
⺠Structure and crystallization behavior of WO3La2O3B2O3 glasses are examined. ⺠The glasses are colorless and give the optical band gap energy of 3.49-3.61 eV. ⺠The coordination state of W6+ ions in the glasses is mainly isolated (WO4)2â tetrahedral units. ⺠LaBWO6 crystals are formed.
