Abstract
Third harmonic generation and triple photon generation properties of TiO2 rutile single crystal, including phase-matching and cubic nonlinearity, are studied and compared with KTP. We measured the fundamental wavelength of the angular noncritical type II phase-matched THG, we refined the dispersion equations, and we showed that this crystal has a figure of merit 7.5 times that of KTP.
