Abstract
From the high-order perturbation formulas of spin Hamiltonian parameters based on the two spin-orbit coupling parameter model, the spin Hamiltonian parameters (g factor gâ¥, g⥠and zero-field splitting D) of the trigonal Co2+ center (which is assigned to a Co2+-S pair defect center) in ZnS0.001Se0.999 mixed crystal are calculated. The calculated results are comparable with the observed values, suggesting that the above assignment is suitable.
