Abstract
A 1 × 32 arrayed waveguide grating (AWG) multiplexer operating around 1550 nm has been designed and fabricated using newly synthesized cross-linkable fluorinated poly (ether ether ketone). It has a good processibility and a thermal stability up to 500 °C. The propagation loss of the waveguide is about 0.6 dB/cm at 1550 nm wavelength. The AWG multiplexer has a channel spacing of 0.796 nm and center wavelength of 1548 nm.
