Abstract

Using a Fourier transform method we fabricate experimentally the square and hexagonal two dimensional light-induce nonlinear photonic lattices of over 20 × 20 segments with different period in self-defocusing LiNbO3:Fe crystal. The experimental setup of this method is very simple, the photonic lattices are quite regular and robust, and the period of the lattice can be dominated easily.
