Abstract
The nonlinear dielectric properties of BiMnxFe1−xO3 ceramics with compositions x = 0–0.30 were investigated at room temperature. The present results demonstrate a high dielectric tunability over quite a large range of electric field biases, which increases with Mn addition. The experimental data are discussed in terms of the Johnson model combined with Langevin terms that describe the extrinsic contributions to the nonlinear ε(E) dependences. The weights of these contributions are different for various Mn additions.
