Abstract
A unique zinc oxide nanostructure network composed of nanosheets and nanowires was synthesized via a polymer-controlled chemical approach. The field emission and photoresponse properties of the network were investigated. The network exhibited a good field emission property with a low turn-on field of 4.1 V μm−1. Furthermore, this network shows a very low dark current of ∼61 pA even at 10 V bias which corresponds to 163 GΩ resistance, and the ratio between dark and illuminated conditions was more than 1000 at 2 V bias.
