Abstract
The inter-diffusion coefficients of face-centered cubic (fcc) Ni–Pt alloys at 1150, 1250 and 1300 °C were measured using Ni/Pt semi-infinite diffusion couples. Based on various experimental diffusion coefficients, an accurate set of atomic mobilities of Pt and Ni in the fcc phase of the Ni–Pt system were obtained via the DICTRA simulation package. The effect of thermodynamic parameters on the diffusion phenomena in fcc Ni–Pt alloys was also analyzed in the present work.
