Abstract
Radiation-induced chromium (Cr) segregation behaviour at grain boundaries in high Cr ferritic/martensitic steels is summarized. The materials involved in this study fall into two groups: radiation-induced Cr depletion in F82H, E911, 13Cr2MoVNbB, 13Cr2Mo + TiO2 steels and in Fe–5Cr, Fe–13Cr, Fe–13Cr–1Ti model alloys; and radiation-induced Cr enrichment in Fe–10Cr–xMn–3Al, HT-9, 12CrMoVNb, HCM12A and T91 steels and in Fe–13Cr and Fe–13Cr–1Si model alloys. The mechanism of radiation-induced Cr depletion/enrichment is discussed.
