Abstract
The misorientation characteristics of commercially pure titanium (CPTi) and a titanium alloy (Ti64) have been investigated, especially with regard to the coincidence site lattice (CSL) model. The misorientation distribution of CPTi was a simple consequence of texture, whereas the distribution for Ti64 was complex and included maxima not related to the CSL.
