Abstract
A fully dense nanocrystalline ceramic consisting of ZrO2, Al2O3 and MgAl2O4 was deformed at 1150 °C at a strain rate on the order of 10−2 s−1. Spark plasma sintering was used in this study as a means of consolidation as well as for subsequent superplastic deformation.
