Abstract
This work presents detailed information of phase identification of a single-crystalline Fe-25at.% Ga quenched from 1000 °C by transmission electron microscopy. The alloy was found to contain A2, B2 and D03 phases. Technical difficulties of the phase identification and their solutions are discussed. The discussion can also be applied to other alloys with similar assemblages of phases.
