Abstract
Ba3−xSrxYNb3O12 (x = 0, 1, 2, 3) ceramics have been prepared via solid-state ceramic route. Permittivity, unloaded quality factor and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency in the microwave frequency region were measured using a vector network analyzer. The phase formation and microstructure have been analyzed by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy, respectively. This study shows that these ceramics are multiphase in nature. Laser Raman studies have been performed to understand the structural features of these materials with respect to strontium substitution.
