Abstract
We synthesized Fe-doped In2O3–Ho2O3 solid solution Fe0.16 @ (In1−xHox)2O3 with x = 0, 0.027 and 0.054. Nanoparticles of Fe3O4 with diameter of ∼150 nm dispersed in the (In1−xHox)2O3 matrix. Magnetization of the x = 0, 0.027 and 0.054 samples was 2.1, 3.1 and 2.7 emu g−1, respectively, at a temperature of 300 K and in a magnetic field of 1 T. Enlargement of magnetization was observed as expected as the matrix effect for the x = 0.027 and 0.054 samples.
