Abstract
Bonelike apatite-collagen composite coating formed on the surface of NiTi shape memory alloy was studied by introducing collagen to simulated body fluid. The results showed that the components and structure of the composite coating were very similar to that of human thighbone, which will be advantageous for its use as an implant material.
