Abstract
Softening between deformations was determined by double torsion tests, metallographic examination and electron backscattered diffraction. High levels of softening of as much as 60% can be promoted by recovery during interpass times, before and at the beginning of recrystallization. The restoration promoted by recovery during recrystallization was analyzed through the evolution of low angle grain boundary fractions.
