Abstract
The thermal stability and grain growth kinetics of two high purity electrodeposited nanocrystalline face-centered cubic Ni–Fe alloys were investigated. Microstructural studies reveal limited abnormal grain growth in these alloys. The results indicate two regimes of grain growth with different grain growth exponents. At low and high temperature regimes, the calculated activation energies are comparable to those for grain boundary and lattice diffusions, respectively.
