Abstract
Thermo-mechanical and isothermal fatigue tests were carried out on the γ-TiAl alloy TNB-V5 in the temperature range 400–800 °C under total-strain control. Cyclic deformation curves, stress–strain hysteresis loops and fatigue lives of tests under different temperature–strain cycles were evaluated. The fatigue lives were well described by the Smith Watson Topper damage parameter.
