Abstract
The synthesis of uniformly distributed nanoscale pores within a Cu47Ti33Zr11Ni8Si1 metallic glass is described. The porous metallic glass was obtained by extruding layered Cu-based metallic glass + Cu composite powders followed dissolution of the Cu in a HNO3 solution. The porous metallic glass has a specific surface area of 23.5 m2/g.
