Abstract
⺠Chemical manganese dioxide (CMD) is prepared from the SEDEMA process. ⺠LMO prepared from the CMD has more uniform particles size and less BET area. ⺠The unique morphology of the LMO is originated by that of the CMD. ⺠The LMO prepared from the CMD shows good rate capability and cycling stability. ⺠The excellent performances result from the unique morphology of the LMO
