Abstract
⺠3d-doping of p-type β-rhombohedral boron yields very high negative Seebeck coefficients. ⺠Simple charge transfer from dopant to host is excluded. ⺠The formation of gap levels by correlation between the 3d atoms via the boron framework is suggested.
