Abstract
⺠All the samples Bi1âxCaxFeO3 (x = 0.1, 0.3, 0.5) have single-phase growth which is clear from Rietveld refinements of XRD. ⺠A diffused dielectric anomaly in the samples around 400 K which seems to be related to ferroelectric transition has been observed. ⺠The doping results in a structural distortion leading to magnetic disorder in the system.
