In the present article we discussed the flux pinning and intergranular coupling characteristics of Cu0.5Tl0.5Ba2Ca2−xMnxCu3O10−y (x = 0 and 0.25) superconductor. It was observed from the resistivity and AC susceptibility under magnetic fields that flux pinning in the Mn substituted samples have been reduced as compared to the Mn free samples. However, the substitution of Mn at Ca site of Cu0.5Tl0.5Ba2Ca2−xMnxCu3O10−y superconductor has improved the intergranular coupling.
