Abstract
A series of n-Si (111) electrodes covered by spinel ferrites with different mole ratios of Ni/Fe and deposited by platinum cluster particles are synthesized. Results show that the photovoltage (Upv) and photocurrent density (jpc) of the composite electrodes (in 7.6Â M HI/0.05Â M I2 solutions as electrolyte) have strong changeable rules with different contents of spinel ferrites and the existent state of spinel ferrites.
