Abstract
In the present paper we propose three relationships to predict the values of the mixed temperature and pressure derivative of isothermal bulk modulus (∂2KT/∂P∂T) at zero pressure based on different assumptions. It is found that (∂2KT/∂P∂T) changes linearly with increase in temperature above Debye temperature at zero pressure. The relationships developed in this study are applied to MgO and the predicted values of (∂2KT/∂P∂T) compare favorably with the experimental results.
