Abstract
This article provides a brief account of the development of organic conductors since 1970s. This research has been motivated by the quest for high Tc superconductors. Besides superconductivity found in organics in 1980, progresses in this field of research have highlighted the wealth of remarkable properties of low dimensional physics.
