Abstract
The cobalt complexes of: (a) meso-tetratolyl-, (b) 5-(4-carboxyphenyl)-10,15,20-tritolyl, (c) 5,10,15,20-tetra-(4-N-methylpyridyl)tetraiodide, and (d) 5,10,15,20-tetra-(4-pyridyl) porphyrins have been synthesized and characterized by MS, electronic spectra, X-ray diffraction and EPR spectroscopy studies. The complex EPR spectra for examined compounds in solid state were obtained in temperature range between 3 K and 300 K. This result makes the connection between the crystal and/or an amorphous form of cobalt porphyrins with different substituents recorded by XRD and analyzed EPR spectrum possible.
