Abstract
⺠A three-stage Stirling pulse tube cryocooler operates around 5 K. ⺠Four primary operating parameters are theoretically and experimentally investigated. ⺠The influences on the regenerator, pulse tube and inertance tube are further revealed. ⺠An effective method for increasing the cooling performance is proposed.
