Abstract
⺠Holey optical fiber is introduced to pulse tube cryocooler (PTC) as the regenerator. ⺠The regenerator performance is simulated and analyzed with a model based on thermoacoustics. ⺠The simulation shows a micro-scale PTC with optical fiber can achieve a COP as large as 0.136 at 80 K.
