Abstract
► Ultra-high heat flux cooling system is developed using micro-solid nitrogen spray. ► Measurement coupled computation clarified micro-solid nitrogen spray cooling. ► Solid nitrogen spray attained better cooling performance than liquid nitrogen. ► Direct latent heat transfer of solid nitrogen particles can avoid the film boiling. ► Cryogenic spray heat transfer is influenced by initial particulate flow condition.
