Abstract
⺠A novel suppression method on the natural convection of the pulse tube cryocooler is proposed. ⺠Extensive experiment demonstrated that the method is quite effective for most operating conditions when the pulse tube cold end is placed upward. ⺠Also, some interesting observations are found and the operating mechanism of the novel suppression is clearly revealed.
