Abstract
⺠In this study, we compare briefly three ways to store thermal energy around 80K. ⺠A compact energy storage unit able to store few kilojoules around 80K is presented. ⺠This device is tested and experimental results agrees with thermodynamic calculations. ⺠This energy storage unit is insensitive to gravity. ⺠Extension up to the 120 K is discussed.
