Abstract
Solar tracking is used in large grid-connected photovoltaic plants to maximize solar radiation collection and, hence, to reduce the cost of delivered electricity. Tracking PV modules towards the sun offers gain in yield of 15% to over 35% relative to fixed mounted PV installations. Single-axis tracking systems adapt the tilt angle for follow the sun closely at all times during the day are currently the most popular. This paper deals with the design and implementation of a solar tracker system (study tilt angle) dedicated to the PV conversion panels in Ouargla city.
