Abstract
Hydration and dehydration of Ca(OH)2/CaO, CaCl2 • 6 H2O/CaCl2 and MgCl2 • 6 H2O/MgCl2 • 2H2O were investigated as heat storage materials. The reaction rates, released power of the hydrations in dependence on water vapour pressure and the conversion of the dehydration in dependence on heating rate are discussed.
