Abstract
Click With the computational fluid dynamics commercial software fluent, the improved RNG k-ɛ two- equation mode and the mixture multiphase model are used to simulate the fluid velocity distribution under different boundary conditions in a vertical-flow sedimentation tank, analysis and comparison of changes in boundary conditions of the flow field on the impact of sedimentation tanks. Results indicate that reflector ignored or not and the size of the entrance velocity have a greater impact on the distribution of flow filed in a vertical-flow sedimentation tank, sludge particles have different velocity on the different heights of the horizontal surface.
