Abstract
With the proposed low-carbon economy, there is growing concern about the impact of carbon emissions on global warming. China's traditional manufacturing is a pillar industry of national economy and its carbon emissions account for a great proportion in the whole country's carbon emissions. This paper makes a comparative analysis to study the differences between developing countries and china in energy consumption, energy consuming structure, energy consumption per unit of GDP and the proportion of carbon emissions in the world. It also studies the low carbon driving factors of China's traditional manufacturing and proposes the corresponding countermeasures.
