Abstract
⺠Distribution of local elastic constants of nanofilms was obtained by the stress-fluctuation approach. ⺠Two body and many body potentials were considered. ⺠The surface of the nanofilm is softer than the inner part. ⺠The elastic constants distributions are different for two body and many body potential films. ⺠The film becomes softer as the temperature grows for both types of films.
