Abstract
► We investigate the catalytic active system Li-MgO. ► The materials system is active for oxidatice coupling of methane (OCM). ► We examine incorporation of transition metal ions to the system. ► The volatile character of Li during catalytic performance could be diminished. ► No development of Li carbonate could be observed. ► The catalytic performance could be enhanced.
