Abstract
⺠Polyvinyl alcohol films were doped with a range of Rhodamine B concentrations. ⺠With increasing doping wt%, main PVA Raman peaks vanish. ⺠It reveals a decrease in crystallinity and breaking of bonds. ⺠Also results in modified surface morphology (SEM measurements). ⺠Optical absorption shows strong modifications as a result of doping.
