Abstract
► Dy3+ doped Gd2(WO4)3 and Gd2WO6 nanocrystals were prepared via co-precipitation route. ► Structure and morphology were characterized by XRD and SEM. ► Dependence of emission intensities on the concentration of Dy3+ was studied. ► Effect of Dy3+ concentration on the lifetime was analyzed. ► Electric dipole-dipole interaction between Dy3+ ions was confirmed.
