Abstract
► Glass transition properties of 40TeO2-(60-x)V2O5-xNiO glasses have been investigated. ► Glasses with higher thermal stability were introduced. ► Tg shifted to higher temperatures with the increasing heating rates. ► The activation energy ΔH⁎ and the fragility m were determined for the present glasses. ► The fragility parameter was <∼90 for x≤10 mol%, suggesting that these glasses may be classified as strong glasses.
