Abstract
⺠Crystals of barium tetrakis(maleate) dihydrate are grown for the first time. ⺠Crystal belongs to monoclinic system with space group P21/c. ⺠Functional groups are identified by FTIR spectroscopy. ⺠Interfacial polarization contributes to the dielectric constant at low frequencies. ⺠Thermal and dielectric studies confirm a three stage decomposition pattern.
