Abstract
In this work, we present the study of heavy fermion superconductivity represented by the extended periodic Anderson model (PAM), which includes a superconducting correlations term. The study has been carried out at finite U as well as at U→∞. We have used the variational method. The variational wave function contains two variational parameters Akσ, and Bkσ, corresponding to, respectively, single and simultaneously two electrons transfer from conduction band to f-band and back. We have found that both the variational parameters are mutually dependent. We have found that Tc, increases as a function of J (interaction parameter).
