Abstract
The nanorods of n-type chalcogenides semiconductors of Bi2Te3 are prepared using electrochemical technique with Te electrode. The highly crystalline rhombohedral structure of Bi2Te3 nanorods with the shell of Bi2S3 is demonstrated. The thermoelectric measurement indicated that thermoelectric performance of Bi2Te3 NRs was improved by a highly reduced thermal conductivity while maintaining the power factor.
